Featured c7 amazon splash guards

Featured Thread
I placed splash guards on my G. Sport abt 2 months after purchase. And while yes, they are a bit narrow (but wider than stock guards) I'm glad I have them. I'm sure that running with the 335's in the back I would have had road rash on the rear 1/4 panels by now, but after 2 1/2yrs of driving..... no chips or nicks! They are well worth the very very small investment, and they don't look at all bad!

Thanks Axe, but did you see the delivery
CDN$ 89.99

FREE SHIPPING.
Get it Wednesday, April 8 - Wednesday, May 6
?? must be coming from China. Almost a month delivery.

I purchased a different set from EBay for $53 US, took about 3 weeks for them to arrive from China.
Quality wise it appears on par with others I have seen.

I am currently in the process of removing the textured finish and will spray the exposed part in Carbon Flash Black to match the other trims.
Will leave the Inner Part in the Wheel well area unpainted because it will get peppered with debris.

Fingers crossed on the Finish :) .

I called two Dealerships asking about Carbon Flash Black in an Aerosol Can, both said that it is not available in Canada.
Anyhow, I reached out to a Contact who specialize in Paints and give him the Paint Code, he had a 7.5 Oz Aerosol Can prepared and ready in an hour. Match looks good enough. Will see how it all works out.

WA501Q Carbon Flash. It'a a GM paint number but I had to get a paint shop to build it for me as well. GM parts dept. just looked at me funny when I asked there.

On another note, the Parts came out looking great IMO. I posted it in another Thread but can post it here as well if anyone wants to see it.

I am surprised how good the color match is compared to the Factory Parts.

Did anyone else Paint their Splash Guards ?

I painted my ACS splash guards, my ACS rockers and my GM poverty splitter... 2000 grit wet sand, then 3 coats CF paint, then 4 coats of clear coat with 3000 grit wet sand between the clear coats.

Awesome, you sir sound like a professional 🙂.
Actually I am..Just not anything to do with painting....lol.. . Was a post here many years ago about painting from a member I unfortunately do not remember his name... Took some tips from him and added a few of my own trial and errors....

I just installed some of the Amazon units also on my GS, look great although I would have liked a little wider, I’d sacrifice some appearance for protection.
