Next spring, we will have to go over around Owen Sound to check out all the fresh rubber on the road. ;) A friend had a low dollar 383 stroker with a healthy flat tappet cam in a Chevy II. He ran consistant mid 12s at the strip. You will be able to mix it up with some of the newer stuff. :D
 
impressive they pulled the l48 with the hood on the car and without an engine leveler. what had to come out of the nose to do that ? everything clears with the water pump off ?

Will there be an autopsy on the L48?

I've sold the old engine to a guy here in town. He's going to rebuild it and I'll find out from him what killed it. I have no desire or room to keep the original engine.

Well I was back down to Breslau today to pick up the old engine and bring it home. Work on the car is progressing very well. :D
