s-type for sure !! Check on YouTube, Borla did a test of HPP (stock) vs S vs Atak, with dual mics attached to the back on the car as well as on the ground during takeoff. Slap on a pair of headphones and turn up the sound to experience it properly
Thanks Neils. I've been on YouTube for hours now. Lol. That video certainly makes the ATAK sound awesome but tough to tell how loud is loud from headphones. Do you have the S type? What is conversation like in the car? Looking for something that sounds good but don't want to be yelling back and forth on a cruise (unless I do something stupid as usual...)
Ha. Fair enough Jack. I like loud and like the heads to turn for sure but am going more for "wow that sounds awesome" not "why does it have to be that loud!". If I want the teeth to rattle I can take out the bike I guess.
you just described reasoning for the S-Type, I don’t have my car yet (in a couple weeks), and already dumping stupid money on upgrades but likely next year it will get the S-type for sure, for all the same reasons you mention. My only fear with going aftermarket, while I love the JDM Japan car scene / shows and their aftermarket builds, I worry the Vette will sound the same like their cars …
You bet buddy !!! Looking like June 01/02 or 08/09. Will be a tight schedule, at the dealer (London) most of the day on a Thursday and then spending all day in Scarborough on the Friday (Champion). My Friday may have more time but won’t have a car to get around.
