Been there ......
Ok.... Time for a story. I use to flex my knees and bounce discreetly in an elevator with others as it was moving and would laugh to myself when they all started to hang on and wonder what was happening. Many years ago I was in the Dominican Rep. and did that in an elevator while it was moving with my wife and 4 friends. All of a sudden it just stopped between floors. My wife knew it was me and was really pissed. We were in there for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden it started up again. I haven't done it since I don't think... lol...
I can relate. Many years ago in Paris we were staying in a probably 2 star at the best hotel and 4 of us in the elevator with luggage and it lifted about 4 inches and refused to go any further. Had to press the ground floor button and go 2 at a time . Good thing wine was cheap.
