Good points. I did find the same answer on the internut as calculus was never my strong suit. Pi is actually considered to be a mathematical constant and has been calculated out to 100 trillion digits by Googles AI cloud servers. It has come a long way since first being conceived of and calculated by the Babylonians in 1900 BCE . Whoever came up with the Wi-Fi question has far too much time on their hands, lol . Then there are these folks. I spent 5 minutes yesterday trying to remember where I put my spare keys because I couldn’t remember where I left my main ones…
The record for memorizing the most digits of pi is held by **Akira Haraguchi**, who claims to have memorized **111,701 digits**. He achieved this feat in 2015, surpassing his earlier record of 100,000 digits recited in 2006, which took him over 16 hours[1][4].
However, the Guinness World Records officially recognizes **Rajveer Meena** from India, who memorized **70,000 digits** of pi while blindfolded in 2015. This record was achieved at VIT University in Vellore, India, and took nearly 10 hours[2][3].
While Haraguchi's achievements are notable, they have not been officially validated by Guinness, leading to some ambiguity regarding the title of the "most digits of pi memorized."
