No problem Rruuff Day. It is Pike's Peak. They go up one at a time (against the clock).

They don't all make it to the top. Paul Goldsmith put his stock car off at the lower altitudes. The ride to the bottom is not forgiving at all. The road is now paved all the way to the top. Speeds are incredible.

This is my friends car. Maybe a good drag racer but a sports car? Don't think so by any stretch of the imagination.

There was a modded Henry J that raced at Oyster Bed Bridge track in PEI in the early 70's. I think he was from Annapolis Valley... One of the fastest drag cars on the track at that time....

Well here is an interesting one. Corvettes a 58 Chev for XFire and an Austin Healey Sprite or a MG Midget (could never tell the difference)...

The mg midget had a different front end with the headlights built in to the front of the fenders. The sprite had the headlights protruding from hood area as in the picture. Also known as a “bug eyed “ sprite.
