Beauty

I'm thinking back in the day of the 15 cent burger, there may not have been a lot of asphalt around.... I can't see dirt tracking my Corvette but they likely had no choice.... Hey. It's Graham's birthday. He will know... ... @nascar03 Graham! Did they have pavement back in those days?

Great memories there Murray... I had a 69 MK 3 Spitfire and always wanted an early TR. I think your picture is a TR3. Then I wanted a GT6. Never got one of those either. It was the Triumph that convinced me that the British took great pride in building their automobiles one piece at a time. Which explained why you had to disassemble most of the car to get at the most common remove and replace items. Much like the Chinese with their easy to follow, assemble your BBQ directions, I'm also sure the British automotive engineers are laughing every time someone has to change a starter. :D

Always liked this one Eric. Seems to sum up the cars well. First car was a Austin Healey 3000 with a 327 and a four speed. Miracle I survived it.

The door shows it to be a TR3. The TR2 did not have an exterior door handle.

This one is very interesting. It was built in 1959 on an SS Corvette Chassis as a new racer when GM's Bill Mitchell instructed Larry Shinoda to develop the car. Any guesses where the next generation styling came from??
