I was wondering if the gas cap was missing.The car appears to have been used in competition, it does have a roll bar. Wonder if the missing Corvette gas cap is actually the opening for a quick fill gas and go system? Love the American Racing Torq Trusts, had them on my 71 Firebird Formula 400.
Not sure I agree about the roll bar, 'cos I don't see it. Looks as if the angled reinforcement is actually the leading edge of the passenger door window frame.
