Nope. The Mongoose is a specially built Corvette labeled as the Cobra killer. They were built by Mongoose Motorsport who were licensed by GM for the build.

Its true, you won't get much of a car for $7,500 bucks these days. But, simply speaking new in 59, it was $3,875.00 so it has appreciated ?
