Was going to use this pic in yesterdays 58 glimpses post but thought I would save it for the beauty thread this morning. I cannot figure out what the red and white car is, cool looking A/sports production racer. Corvette and a 58 all in one shot...

I think that GM show car was called a ‘Corvair’..
maybe….? Too bad there isn’t some device that I could look into that would give us answers from things around the world.
Something like a encyclopedia that you could hold in your hand.
I better check yahoo and see if I’m wrong.

Knowing the value of a C2 coupe today, it baffles me how anyone could have turned one into a stripped down, sole purpose quarter mile machine. Hopefully they saved the bits and could restore it back.
