Battery upgrade

Here's the delco battery covers they make today available from many places like Ecklers, etc . Just sits on top of any new battery with matching top posts and makes it look like you got a old vintage battery in your classic ride . Older Vettes like the C3 sit down in a hole so you only see the top anyway and gives the correct look and make a extra point at the car show.

Not sure if it is absolutely necessary but will try one of these:

Black Acid Neutralizing Mat - 12" x 8"

I did the same thing in my C5. Never had a battery leak, but can't take the chance in this car.
