Barrett-Jackson auction has a C8 up today.

Retirement is the Longest vacation period! :) I retired 6 or 7 years ago. I could have done it a couple of years earlier and I wish I had. Thought I'd miss work. Boy was I wrong. lol. More time to drive the C8!

l am # 20 down from# 126 a year ago lt's getting tough to deal with got lots of questions will my Liver last as l will quit drinking when l get my car or should l just end it now. Should l walk away and buy an Audi R8 or just build a Factory 5 1933 Coupe ,The longer the wait the less the buzz seems to be kinda like taking Rosey out on a date after 20 other dudes have had her out on a Date.
Is there any one else feeling the same way ????
There have been very few retail things that l have had to wait for this long and it SUCKS.
l think there have been alot of people dumping their C8s as fast as they get them as .The thrill is gone baby .The thrill is gone. Time to move on

All I can tell you, is from my point of view, the car is worth waiting for. I had a lowered 485 hp Camaro SS and this car puts it to shame. You can't wipe the smile off my face when I dive this C8..

l can agree with you 100%. l got my Golden handshake at 55 and have never looked back , surround yourself with like minded intelligent people and watch the Gravy come in . l got time l got Money now WTF is my C8 !!!!!!!!!!

I saw the C8 on Barrett Jackson. Pretty darn impressive. The cooling of the engine is pretty ingenious of how the radiators from the front grill supply cold air all the way back to the power plant.
As nice as these are, I still like the old vettes with the stick shifts. I couldn't imagine operating this car with a knob on the counsel...

Base 1LT with 495 kms sold for 100 Vancouver dealer auction on Thursday. No doubt bought by a US dealer.

No doubt a stick shift is more fun than he C8's paddle system. The C8 will let you hit the rev limiter in a gear but it won't let you stall the car by picking to high a gear. It actually downshifts by itself even in Manual Mode. IMHO it should actually stall like a stick shift car. Then the driver will be more aware and it will be much more like a stick cars manual.

Mark seems just last week you were #30, and now you are down to #20? that's huge movement on a list that should not be moving at all. i wonder if the dealer started making calls to the people on the list saying "allocations are coming shortly" and people are backing out.

Mark considering you already had an early 2020 and flipped it for a hefty profit, no one gonna fell bad if you needed to wait till 2022 to get another one.

Being a mod, I read lots of posts but for the life of me I can't recall ever hearing that Mark had received a C8... :Ack2:
