Auto Paddle Shift

to be honest, I like auto's…but the main reason i bought a standard in the C7 is I'm tired of women, yes women, making fun of me at car shows because my car is auto…lol…I can't count how many times a girl would walk up and say, "nice car!" and then look inside and see that its a auto and then say, " oh forget it!! its an auto", lol I can't take the humiliation anymore, to be honest. even my wife wanted me to get a standard in the Vette, The reason i bought an auto ZL1 was for drag racing to have the upper hand … cheers!
but if you like auto's and are not afraid of being called every name in the book for choosing a Auto corvette, go ahead, more power to you. bahahaha

I would go c7 z06 automatic and will someday.....

C7zl1 you shouldn't let what other people think about your cars worry you so much, I'm not afraid of being called any name by anyone about something like a car choice!......lol What if someone seen you driving your auto camaro on the street? Not good!

Hahaha. Too funny about women making fun of you for getting an auto in the ZL1. Next time they make fun of you, just ask them where their ZL1 is.

The whole auto/manual thing keeps getting blurred with DCT's and such. For some reason, those are for performance but a traditional auto isn't??? And, as Colin said, all the exotics are going with autos with no manual available. Last month I sat in a 2014 Gallardo with a manual transmission. Apparently this is the final year this is being offered.

Myself, I am a manual man. I love shifting the gears, but some day, I just may not care for it, then I'll go with the auto. Very good aspects to both types of transmissions.
