Not quite sure what this is

Its a meccano set gone wild.
The politicians wanted cheap public transit, this is it.
Who needs design, just let the boys in the shop cobble something together.
It might be a dragster, big wheels in the back, tiny wheels on the front.
If it does hit a moose, that rack will slide the carcass right up into the radiator, so we'll just wire on this 10 gallon bucket, that should keep the moose from hitting the windshield....safety first!

So what is the history of TH&B? What years did it run? Who bought them out?
TH&B basically connected NY Central RW terminus in Buffalo to Hamilton and on to Toronto.
In the years it operated, it has had many owners jointly or otherwise.
NYC, Conrail, CP are the main players. CP eventually took over the entire line.
On a road trip south of the 401, 2 years ago, South and West of Woodstock I came across 3 GP7 TH&B locos ( the real ones, not the models I have ).
Did not have a camera or phone with me ( damn ).
Somebody has quite the outdoor collection on an estate and an enormous drive shed with, I presume, more rail treasures.
The GP7s were manufactured in London Ontario by a division of GM.
