The Indian locomotive class WP is a class of 4-6-2 "Pacific" steam locomotives used in India. It was introduced after World War II for passenger duties, marking the change from 'X' to 'W' as the classification code for broad gaugelocomotives. The class was designed specifically for low-calorie, high-ash Indian coal, by Railway Board designers in India.

WP class locomotives were capable of going up to 110 km/h (68 mph) and were easily recognized by their bulging, cone-shaped nose, usually with a silver star device painted on it .

I thought the strike was over ? Looks pretty deserted , lol .
Picture from 1910 I believe.
Farnham, at that time, was a major hub with both CN & CP.
Trains coming out of Montreal were divided up to get through the mountains on the way to the US and vice versa coming the other way the trains were assembled to longer units to go on to Montreal.
Had a roundhouse and cripple track as well.
Had several passenger trains going in to and coming out of Montreal per day in the '50's
