Single source government contract , lol .The new iron railway bridge at Portage, New York. 820 feet long, 255 feet high. With first test train which passed over it, July 31, 1875.
There is no way that that looks structurally sound. I'll bet it was the lowest cost option.
Not unlikely. Along time ago, during my stint with Transport Canada, we were building a new runway at Hamilton. Ottawa provide a list of approved contractors which included, plumbers, bricklayers, drywallers, framers, flooring installers and anyone else who had contributed more that 10 cents to a campaign fund.Single source government contract , lol .
Sad state of affairs in Ottawa. Not unlikely. Along time ago, during my stint with Transport Canada, we were building a new runway at Hamilton. Sad state of affairs in politics!!!Sad state of affairs in Ottawa.
Just about time for a new group of incompetent clowns. That’s the sad part, no viable alternative to the status quo . Too much apathy among the electorate I’m afraid. Only 44.5% of eligible voters went to the polls last election. And the party in power won with 32% of the vote. Pathetic. In my opinion voting should be mandatory and easier to do be that securely online or by mail for example.Sad state of affairs in politics!!!
What do you think was happening in Ontario?
What do you think was happening in Alberta?
What do you think was happening in Quebec?
Get it? Got It? Good!

Pretty sure the OP is perfectly capable of judging the level of digression in his thread. We are digressing in a thread I don't want to lock.
BUT I've always been a proponent for that too. If I don't like anyone I go destroy my ballot. It counts as a vote against everyone! LOL
Anyway Let's get back to our train sets.
I just assumed it was a C4 owner long tired of this thread! lolPretty sure the OP is perfectly capable of judging the level of digression in his thread.
