Not unlikely. Along time ago, during my stint with Transport Canada, we were building a new runway at Hamilton. Ottawa provide a list of approved contractors which included, plumbers, bricklayers, drywallers, framers, flooring installers and anyone else who had contributed more that 10 cents to a campaign fund.

Just about time for a new group of incompetent clowns. That’s the sad part, no viable alternative to the status quo . Too much apathy among the electorate I’m afraid. Only 44.5% of eligible voters went to the polls last election. And the party in power won with 32% of the vote. Pathetic. In my opinion voting should be mandatory and easier to do be that securely online or by mail for example.

BUT I've always been a proponent for that too. If I don't like anyone I go destroy my ballot. It counts as a vote against everyone! LOL
