The Angels Flight Funicular shows up in the Harry Bosch detective novels on occasion.

@Dave91TM There is one book written by Michael Connelly in the series called "Angels Flight". They are well written books, quite a few in the Bosch series. They were made into televised shows as well.

Enjoy, great summer read!

There is a LOT of books in the Bosch series from Michael. I would recomend starting at the beginning as his story does evolve from book to book but ties in.

Michael Connelly books linky thingy

@Pep, Randy could not agree more on reading the Bosch books in order, lots of great characters introduced along the way, some stay some don't. Spun off this series was the Lincoln Lawyer series, the main character is Bosch's step brother. Just Google to find the list in chronological order.

If you like detective books a Canadian/English author Peter Robinson, who sadly just passed away, has the Inspector Banks series based in England. I think there is maybe 10 books including his recently published "Standing In The Shadows", his final book. The comments for the Connelly series would apply to the Robinson as well.

All this from train pics. Who knew!
