Another $2000 USD price increase on all C8s

Not surprised with price increases. Awesome car for the money. Thanks for the info.
I think that's really the crux of the matter, isn't it? Ever since the C8 came out, everyone has been saying how much car you get for the money, comparing it to every high end sports car / supercar out there. That's why there are 2 year waiting lists, people re-selling for more than they initially paid, etc. The car, comparatively speaking, is underpriced.

What GM is doing is capitalizing on this...bumping the price up 20% (more or less) and seeing what happens. If some people drop off the waiting list, it doesn't matter...they are still producing and selling everything they build. I know for those waiting for a car this sucks HUGE and even worse for those who can't justify / come up with the additional $20k...I totally get it and feel for you. However, even with the price increase, is it STILL a lot of car for the money and people are not going to stop buying them. Supply and demand, Capitalism 101...

Supply and Demand - you got it - used ones are dipping right now but will jump again I expect by summertime as they always do once the snow disappears.
It is a good place to be with either a new one on order or an existing C8 - I took mine out for its last drive for the year last night - just over 300k all through the north, Minden, Canarvon, Haliburton, Kinmount just stunning the fall colors ... washed and detailed and put er to bed for the winter - hit 1,135 KM and had a red C7 follow me all over the place, was a fun time - god I love this car!

and who is going to sell you US dollars without making profit?
What 3 cents among friends, lol . But yes I hear what you’re saying

What’s a couple of pennies among friends? Not that banks are your friends, lol . Of course there are always foreign currency conversion fees, how much it costs can depend on your financial institution as well as account type . It can vary for a number of reasons but still only pennies.

Chevrolet is increasing MSRP of all 2024 C8s by $2000 USD in USA as of Oct 2nd

CHEVROLET is announcing revised prices effective for vehicles produced on or after October 02, 2023. This revision affects Base Model Prices, DFC, and specific options for 2024 MY CORVETTE. Dealer invoice amounts will increase accordingly. Dealer discounts remain unchanged.

Dealer price schedules will be available in GlobalConnect effective October 02, 2023.

Retail sold order price protection eligibility dates are dictated by the customer and dealer order dates as follows:

-Customer order date must be prior to the date of the price increase.

-GM systems order date (date dealer enters in GM system) must be no more than one workday after date of the price increase.”

These units will be invoiced at prices in effect at the date of production; however, the dealer open account will automatically be credited for the price increase once the unit has been delivered.”
