Back away from the nest . I think we have to realize that it's not a fair fight and the odds of us winning an all out economic battle with the US are slim to none given our dependence on trade with them and the size of their economy. Would be nice if it were otherwise but we have yet to see evidence of that.
You are forgetting who pays for the Tariffs. The public is getting tired of paying for them. If he doesn't stop the midterms it might be a big turn around.
You make a point but fortunately or unfortunately I would rather go down fighting and proud than take it up the a$$. The more we roll over for him the weaker we look and become until he walks in and takes everything.

I hear you. If it were not for what took place policy wise , or rather didn't here over the last 10 or 12 years in our " post nationalist " Country we would be in a much stronger position to weather the storm .
Sorry, That's a guess. As I've said countless times a deficit means more money in the economy. More money in benefits etc. You can't play the whatif game. There is no way of telling what could have been. There might have been a bad recession for all we know. You can also blame covid for a lot.
They will still be blaming COVID 20 years from now.
It's history. No different than what you are doing blaming the previous administration for everything. We hopefully learn from the past.
