No plans for rad screens. My 2021 doesn’t have em, and after 19,000km the rad fins are fine. maybe because I don’t do much highway driving

Good point. I'm likely to need them for the same reason. Everywhere we go is usually via highways. Thanks. Ours is a 2LT trim level HTC Z51 with Z51 suspension w/MSRC. Added front lift for driveways speed bumps etc.

Same here, it's like we hit the sweet spot for configuration. Plus we avoided the ridiculous price increase.

GM is planning to remove Android Auto and Carplay support on vehicles going forward (starting with their EVs), so the enshitification will continue.

I can’t speak for all your other concerns, but speed limits are only displayed for streets/highways where that information is available. You will find that certain streets/highways never display the speed limit. But most do.

Just like Garmin? Some roads do, some don't. Accuracy of the map being the factor.

Google will not allow ads to be removed from Android TV's! I wonder when ads are going to appear on the Infotainment screen! I can see a Hyundai ad on it now! Oh Wah!

I have slowly been playing around with 2024 infotainment, I managed to delete/hide google App Store, and google assistant so cleaning up the left hand side of the screen.

I really miss the speed limit read-out in the google maps screen as well as that all street names font is too small

If the Google Play Store is loaded into the DIC system, I wonder does it have all the many GPS routing apps, like Waze?
That might be a better alternative to using Google Maps as a GPS route system.
I just recently tried it, on my phone, and it does seem pretty decent.
