This limitation of Z06 production to 10% of total production is really out of left field. GM had set up Z06 supplier schedules based on 30% of production/1,000 units per month. 10% of production is one third of what was planned. The Z06 suppliers will not be happy because they will not be making much/any money on this very limited production and probably based their pricing to GM on the 1,000 units per month level. Clearly something has happened to change GM's original plans for Z06 production. We just don't know what caused this yet. My guess is there is more information to come and hopefully a roadmap for getting Z06 production up to the originally planned 30% level.
