Featured 2020 Corvette on Display at GM Headquarters, Oshawa

Featured Thread
It would be nice to see the C8 at the Toronto show. I remember when the C7 was at the show for the first time. The crowd was so thick I had to come back to the car three or four times hoping the crowd would thin out so I could see the car. Both coupe and vert would be awesome ... but that's hoping for too much.

All the C8's that are out and about right now have an appointment with the Crusher. The gm rep at the showing in Depew NY said that one was heading for it's demise by the end of January, and he assumed all the rest of them were too. They all have 'bad' vins, that end with "EX" (i.e.not for sale, and crusher bound).

I was informed by a member of the Eastern Ontario Corvette Club, who saw the car in person, that this one does not end in 'EX' and will actually be a customer car in the future.

John Price of the Eastern Ontario Corvette Club has probably the best inside track of the where abouts of the C8. I am hoping it will be at the Toronto car show. I will also be at the museum March 1 on the way to Florida maybe get a glimpse of one. If not I will be at the Sebring race March 21 and will see lots there I hope.

Anyone have an email or phone number for the organizers of the Montreal Auto Show? I would definitely contact them and ask if the vehicle will attend but I doubt it seeing as how they would probably advertise it on their site.. Also, the orange one at GM headquarters is apparently a customer car so why would it be at the auto show?

First C8 built on or around FEB 3 so this would not be a customer car.

They have been building early 'test builds' as they ramp-up to full production. These are not your typical customer cars, but maybe sold/given to VIPs or executives. Ordered cars for dealerships begin early Feb. Even if it goes into a museum or becomes a showpiece, it's not destined for the crusher.

It's not an EXP.
