I understand that Kevin Easton from Lindsay was going to have a half dozen or more of his collection of Chrysler musclecars at that show. That looks like his hemi Dart in the one picture. The red GTX looks familiar too.

the gtx looks similar to the roadrunner with the aftermarket hemi that the fenelon falls rotary club raffled 4years ago. nice pictures colin, i love the vintage mopar stuff, thanks. :D

I was in Kevin's shop when they were getting the cars ready to go to the car show. He has a LOT of cars. I saw an LS6 Chevelle. There was a '71 or '72 Trans Am Firebird 455 HO. He has a blue Superbird that he brings out to local cruise nights once in a while. A friend of mine works for him and they are just finishing up a Road Runner that Kevin bought back in the day. It needed a LOT of work but looks like new once more. Going into Kevin's shop is like stepping back in time. The cars in his collection could make a car show in themselves.

There was a blue Superbird all by itself down in the 100 level. Car was perfect. I didn't catch the name of the owner but might have been his.

I guess I must be warming up to the C7, cause that C7 Z06 at the show looked pretty darn nice ! !
And one positive thing about the blacked-out tail lights, ...it knocks some of the ugly out of 'em .... :)

I sure wouldn't mind having that exact car sitting in my garage ! Now we wait and see what the price tag will be ..? I bet it's gonna rise right on up there .

It did look nice didn't it. Only down side for me was that silly lip spoiler they had on it.........Wasn't impressed with that at all and hoping they just stick it on instead of drilling holes.

Pricing as I understand it will be same as '13's, at least initially. No promises on that tho. We'll just have to wait and see.

Seems I neglected to take pics of the C7 Convertible. You can just see it in one of my pics with Greg sitting in the new red Coupe.

If someone has it would they be so kind as to post it here please? It was one of the stars of the show and somehow I missed it.

Cheers,
Colin.

my desktop died this week, I think I got a pic of the convertible,

I'll try to post tomorrow with my small lap top, actually got a good picture of Brian with his newest purchase.

Yeah right! what did he buy and 1/18th scale model?

Ok I"ll bite -- just what did Brian "purchase" -- and do you mean Caledonia Brian.

Thanks for the pic Wayne ....

oh yeah, lay off the porn -- too many viruses ...(I heard). :D

No it was about 7 years old, had been through 3 renovations and was feeling very tired, luckily I keep all my data backed up so the only pain was in my wallet.

Yes it was Brian of Caledonia and no, it was full scale.

Plenty of virus free porn sites for those inclined.

:Dpm sent.:D

........

as far as our friend from Caledonia buying something "full-scale" -- :

I'm from Missouri-- "the Show Me State" .. and Wayne, come on now.....would you really spill the beans if it was something major? I kinda doubt it.

....but hey, I've been wrong b4 .... :D

At the risk of offending (once again) :seeya: I'm going to give my opinion on the C7 convertible, the Z06 and blacked out taillights.

I love it, the roofline looks so much better (to me) than the coupe, I really wish they would bring back the FRC option. If it made any sense at all this is what I would buy.

Love the Z06, even the spoiler which is very much "in your face". Back valence looks so much better without that not so appealing large black valence. If Chevy has come up with blacked out D.O.T. approved taillights then GOOD FOR THEM, looks fantastic.

The C7 is so much incredible value good job Chevy.

Look's like a good time had by all. Thnks for posting all the pics. Never been to the Toronto show only Detroit. I will have to go next time and check it out.
Eric

We usually get quite a few from here who go -- Would be great to have you along too Eric. It's a nice outing and you get to drool over some sweet cars. I imagine about the same show as Detroit (tho a little more expensive).

As usual keep tabs on what we're up to here in the 416/519/905 forum for events and meets. Glad to have you along. I really would love to see that bad boy C4 you have.

Cheers,

Colin.

So you're saying he bought that beautiful '58 Ford Skyliner?
Did I say I was from Missouri? :D

BTW -- thanks for all the great pics. You got some really nice ones.
