1st allocation of 2025

FFS guys, are you brand new to the internet? how hard is it to post a link, instead of posting screen shots or copying the entire dealer's web page and pasting it in here
Lots of room. Saves you from clicking on a link that you haven’t verified yourself. I don’t see the big deal really.

Tomorrow July 18 is the 1st allocation of 2025 production year. Do we have anyone here waiting to specifically order a 2025? has anyone heard anything about Canadian Prices?

Last year GM Canada waited 2 months / 2 allocations cycles to tell us that prices went up $12,000-$20,000

US prices will be released July 24
I'm waiting to order a 2025 C8 and am next on the list at my dealership. I have not heard anything yet about 2025 pricing but would be interested to know when someone finds something. Thank you

1: USA Corvette market is NOT Canadian Corvette market.

2: Isolated Canadian Listings although valid do not represent the entire C8 market picture. Spec of said C8s also plays huge role in pricing

I agree, but stand by the notion that the days of paying FULL MSRP for a Stingray are behind us. This is a mass produced car, that one can now argue is being overproduced. There is hardly a GM dealer in Southern Ontario that doesnt have a C8 in stock right now. I bought my wife a new Mazda MX5 last week and had to drive 2.5 hrs to get one. I had a harder time finding one than I would have finding a new C8.

The little country GM dealers are the ones that are giving them away today as they are panicking over the thought of carrying a non current C8 into the winter.

I think $3-4K off a C8 Stingray will be the street price for MY25.

Any dealer I walked into in B.C. (with the exception of Dueck) has offered me 5-6k off an in stock 2LT without even negotiating. If you’re buying new, you should aim to get 2023 msrp as a price target.

Wow, why stop at 2023 MSRP target ($12,000 off)? Those are rookie numbers! Maybe the dealer will pay the Lux tax for you also? Maybe throw in a Chevy Trax for your winter beater duties?

Don’t forget to post your bill of sale with your window sticker when that C8 is in your driveway ;)

I don't believe you that brand new 2024 Stingrays are being discounted as much as $7K.
You really need to open your eyes and look at the market for Stingrays. The people who paid MSRP for 2024's and are still paying MSRP must be nuts. Most C8's hold 10k margin.

There is nothing wrong with paying MSRP in 2024 or previous years for ordering exactly your desired spec instead of waiting 5 years for discounts on what ever is left over in dealer stock

Thanks, Dennis.
For a minute there I thought I should be booking myself in for an evaluation.

Personally, I get exactly what I want, and if that costs me a few bucks more, so be it.
If that makes me "nuts", too F'n bad.

Happy for the ones who get a discount but it sucks for us , if we decide to sell because prices are coming down. I paid MSRP. I am not selling . GM made these cars too expensive , for most , by taking the full exchange rate and that is where your discount comes from. Now dealers , who gouged us are taking the hit and that makes me happy. Karma! Have a great week everybody. :Woohoo: I was gouged, by forcing me to take Z51:mad: , which I am happy I have but still I had not ordered it that way. I was told take it or we go to the next buyer:Arghh:. I had been waiting 30 months then.

Yeah. $12K off might be a stretch.

Funny you should mention the free Trax. My dad was GM of Golden Mile Chev in Scarborough back in the 80s and they were way overstocked with C4s and were offering a free Chevette with a new Corvette.

Chevette . I guess they could give them away after all , lol .

You can order at various dealers and still get a discount too. The discount will probably be larger on a instock unit tho.
It’s called “ supply and demand “ . Any commodity is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Supply has finally caught up with demand so the market is now more balanced. Early adopters of most new technologies or products generally pay a bit of a premium . Depends on how badly and early you want to play. I personally paid MSRP and got what I wanted in a reasonable time frame and have no intention of ever selling. Happy as a lark . There’s always a better deal just around the corner, lol .
