I know I am replying to myself, but I put a major error in here, the fuel pump fitting is not 3/8in. NPT. I think it is the next size down, so I would not want anyone to refer to this and get the wrong size. I have to go shopping for the right one now, which I believe is 1/4"NPT.

Yes, definitely keep it as is. While I was under there I retrieved the build sheet/tank sticker. I have to tape it back together, it came out in pieces. I know it has a 3.08 gear ratio, but have not figured out if it is limited slip/posi or not.
