Hu guys. I have the following rims for sale. $2999 used 1k kms. Mint. C8 spec so you can use existing tires but offset greatly improved for more aggressive stance.
Pls contact
That's true also. My z06 spec is about $180k. That's 16k in luxury tax then gas gusseler tax. So, mine would be $20k on top of purchase price not including hst. Wowza!! Gotta pay to play I suppose.
I suppose at that juncture, it's not as much of a bargain against its competition, given the quality of manu and all things considered. I love my c8, but it's still very "gm". You can feel it. Some of the z06's competition may cost more but that premium does cover the delta in quality of product.
Agreed. Then there's that juicy luxury tax that applies. The best "value" all things considered is in fact the SR. I'm a value guy but still on the list for Z06 although at this juncture, all things considered (including the future economy), I am satisfied with my z51 SR.
Thank you for this. By this rationale used cars that exceed the $100k mark that have been previously registered should be exempted from this garbage tax. This likely will shift lots of folks towards luxury alternative vehicles by that principle alone.
No, I wasn't speaking of boats perse but replied to the thread in general. Doesn't seem to make sense for private sale but wondering if you purchased a car over $100k used from a dealer if the LT tax still applied. Perhaps someone in the know will chime in. My scenario has me at a low number for...
That makes sense. Never thought of that. Do you need to have a PO box of sorts?
I'm relatively close to the border (Burlington, Ontario) so the trek to the border isn't an issue per se. Assume duties would be stiff certainly.
I'll likely do that.
Thx for the response.
