I disconnect the batteries on all cars that I store for the winter, including C8 Corvette. Gave up using battery tenders. Garage is heated to 60 degrees F over the winter (at least until the heat pump does not restart after a power outage). I then stick the battery charger on in the spring...
Thanks, I really thought about Sebring Orange but I went with Red Mist in the end. I had never seen Red Mist until my car was delivered. It looks best in bright sunshine.
Over the past 30 years, the dealer has accommodated me on a convenience deal every time I have asked. And I did a bit of a complicated one when I bought my C8 (I was in a different province from the dealer where I ordered the C8 and the purchaser of my C6 was in a different province again).
I have four of the position dolly's (two from Canadian Tire and two from Princess Auto). I use them when I store my cars and need to fit four cars in three bays. If I had to get my C8 out of the garage with them, I would put two dolly's on the rear wheels and sheet of plywood on my gravel...
The other option is to sell your C7 yourself and ask Cullen's to do a convenience deal to put the sale of your C7 through their dealership so you save the sales tax.
I would talk to Andrew Spencer at Bill Spencer Chev, their trade values have been very good. Just keep in mind that they will likely want your 2019 right away if they are offering today’s top dollar trade in value
