Z06's @ Dealerships?

The Quebec dealer didn't expect you to have the pricing which I sent you and now they are figuring out what to do even though you have offered to pay
MSRP on a used car.
Knowledge is power :)

Also to be clear , I didn’t share the original sticker , I only referenced the original MSRP. No mention of where it came from either ..

I’m sure they are scratching their heads

JUST IN!

Hello David, we've considered your offer but we are unable to accept it.

Please let us know if you would consider and offer closer to the price advertised.

And my response just now:

Thanks xxxxx for the response.

$40k over msrp on a 2023 is unreasonable. Nothing supports this in the industry.

My offer was firm, I’ve checked with many z06 owners , done my research and am being generous offering original MSRP for a 2023 when allocations are becoming available for 2025, and the market for used C8’s has and is softening. Lots of cars for sale.

All the best,

David

I thought your offer was very generous, actually.
It's not just that the car is a year old, but it has over 5,000 km on it.
They will probably reach out to you again, but this time at only $20,000.00 over.
At that point, you'll have to decide how much you really want the car.

David, here's the best I can do tonight that I just had forwarded to me from a Toronto dealer. A brand new zero mile 2023 Torch Red Z06 HTC 3LZ with the following options:

-Carbon Flash painted Carbon Fiber ground effects package $3,445

-Stealth Interior trim package $795
-Adrenaline Red Custom Leather stitching on Black interior $610

This is amazing …. And thank you.

For me the most important thing is I will only buy an Amplify (or Sebring) Orange Z06 or ZR1

I’m just not a fan of other colors which are common. Kinda corners me , but that’s what I like.

David, I know your an orange guy. Unfortunate when the production numbers for the previous 4 years of both oranges ranged from 4.8 to a high of 5.6%.
Makes it very difficult to find an Orange Z06 that is available and none have ever been offered to me to extend to our members.
Have you had a chance during the ZR1 launch to check out the new 2025 Habanero orange interior? Is that interior meant for the Orange car of interest to you?
What would you think about ordering a 2025 next week with what you want?
Scott

This is exactly why I’m the orange fan I am. It’s a tad unique and rare(ish)

This in a Sebring 2025 z06 , interesting. Let me have a think on this.

Delivery ballpark for a 2025 order?

Don't worry there's no secret on how to get the full window sticker. I pulled the sticker days ago when you posted the link to the car. That dealer only sold 1 z06 in 2023 so it was a easy search.

The other thing that is not being considered here is the generation gaps between the interest parties here. Minesh and Nader are in a different age category than we are.
Back in 1984 when the C4 came out, even though Motor Trend picked it as the Car of the Year, they went on to say the Z51 ride would make your kidneys bleed because it was so rough and I loved all three of my C4's including my ZR-1 but I was in my late twenties. Guys like Ron Fellows don't come out and say the best all around C8 is the E-Ray as it offers the biggest diversity of all the models available when it comes to driving the car every day like most owners do. I drove a Z06 and it reminded me of my C4 Z51 but it was smoother due to the mag ride but noticeable harsher (35%) than my Z51 Stingray with mag ride. When the Z06 was unveiled on Tues October 26, 2021 I thought it was a misprint seeing that the Z06 had less torque than my 2020 Stingray. The demographic of what is acceptable from a ride and comfort standpoint could be different for somebody in their 20's or 30's compared to someone in their 60's or 70's. I'm spoiled now and wouldn't want to go back to C4 ride unless I was going to the racetrack and then I set everything to track to get the fastest suspension settings. At one point I owned 3 Corvettes at the same time including a Z51 coupe, a convertible with the first version of mag ride in 2003 and my Z06 which I used on the track and had the titanium exhaust which sounded amazing.
The biggest complement Z06 owners speak about is the sound and if they are good with the ride that comes with it then using it as a daily driver works.
Hey, I’m 67 years “young” and I love everything about my Z06!🤣

That's terrific.
I'm right behind you in terms of age.
Curious if you even considered an E-Ray, or if you just knew all along that the Z06 was for you?
Do you track the car (which makes the choice obvious IMO), or just love 'the noise'?

I actually was on a list at Cullen for an Eray as well as at Humberview. However, when an unexpected allocation was offered at Humberview (I wasn’t on a list with any dealer for a Z06), I jumped at the opportunity. I had driven a Z06 on track at CTMP last summer and it blew me away. As well, I owned a 2016 Shelby GT350R p, which had a fpc , and I love the sound and high reving capabilities that the fpc offers. Unfortunately I had to get rid of my Shelby and traded it as well as my 2023 HTC Stingray in on the Z06. No regrets though. I’m still intrigued with the Eray , so you never know! How are you enjoying yours so far?

So far, I love it.
The car has all the performance, comfort, and luxury I was looking for.
I don't track my cars, nor do I have any missconceptions of being the next drag strip champion.
While I can understand the alure of 'the noise', for our use (usually the Wife and I out touring) I felt it to be a bit 'over the top'.
Don't get me wrong - the Z06 is a beautiful car - it's just too much 'attitude' for the two of us.
Our previous Stingray was great as well, but the 'boys-and-toys' syndrome kicked in, and I needed that next performance level up with the wide body.
That said, if the opportunity presents itself to park a ZR1 next to the E-Ray in the garage, I'm all over it.

Hey, I think the sound of the LT2 with the pushrod engine is still a great sound and from what I understand, the added audio of the electric motor in the Eray has it’s own unique appeal! It’s certainly nice that the Corvette offers a few different options depending on what appeals to each individual’s personal preferences! And then there’s the ZR1….🤣 Hope to catch up with you on the road soon, DW!

Most of them will pass when they’re given the opportunity to order. Do a nationwide search and bring one home. A 3LZ with 10,000km just sold for $175,000 and there’s another 3LZ with lower kilometres which you can buy for $150-160,000 I’m sure. It’s been on sale for a while now.
I am also looking at 3lz 2023s. Do you remember the spec of the 3lz thats just sold? Was it convertible or coupe? I am asking because I saw a 3lz for sale that I believe was traded once around july as well. I wonder if its the same car. Is that "another" 3lz still available?
