Z06 OFFICIAL LIST of who is on the list? who is staying? who is dropping?

I hear that next week, possibly Aug 18, GM will tell dealers what percentage of their total Aug allocations can be Z06 orders. If that is true then Z06 "allocations" will be "constraints" on the total allocation numbers instead of "allocations".

Yes. Z06 R part of overall allocation. My dealer won't sell me a C8 because I bought from another dealer that had one available. So, I will buy from other dealers.

when you say "my dealer" do you mean you were on a list for Z06 but then the dealer told you they will not sell to you because you did not buy your C8 from them or did they declined to put you on their list?

That is right! My sales rep jerked me around. I got fed up and bought one that became available at another dealer. I paid over MSRP which is okay. It is absolutely loaded and I drive it a lot . I made the mistake of not going on more than one list. I gave them $10k to be on list.

Considering buying something else in the next few months though (like a Boxster 981 S or the new M2) as I'm sure I'm a couple of years away from eventually getting it ... if the price doesn't increase by 50% by then . Did anyone drive the Boxster GTS 4.0 ?

Z06 fuel economy 12mpg (19.6 L/100km) city and 21mpg (11.2 L/100km) highway with combined rating of 15mpg (15.82 L/100km) which means that in Canada it will be charged $3000 "Canadian excise tax on fuel-inefficient vehicles"

So my z06 build just went from $187,000 to $190,000 out the door

I suppose at that juncture, it's not as much of a bargain against its competition, given the quality of manu and all things considered. I love my c8, but it's still very "gm". You can feel it. Some of the z06's competition may cost more but that premium does cover the delta in quality of product.

I disagree, my C8’s overall quality is slightly better than my daily 2020 BMW X5 M-Sport

Denis, don't forget the 3 grand will attract the luxury tax and hst, thus more like over $4000 ($4068) increase on your final price.
