Not on any list because I would of been 15th. Which means in Quebec 15 years ;) . Anyway , now that they have unlocked the Stingray and we can tune it up, I will be as fast as a non tuned Z06 in the Quarter mile. Good luck to all of you.
If quarter mile is your gauge for performance the C8 Z06 wasn’t for you anyways, it’s a track car that will destroy any modded Stingray, put your name an the Eray list sounds more your kinda car

Are you saying the C8 ECM has been unlocked? I tried finding more info on this but couldn't.

I have been, for a Stingray list, for 2 and a half years 😅. Yes I only drag race my cars.

Trifecta performance

Yes it has. I will try to find the article and company that did it.
Close, but it doesn't look like they unlocked the ECM. What they did was picky-back onto it. They essentially added another chip that mimics certain parameters to fool the ECM. My understanding is the ECM has not been unlocked but some companies have been able to change certain settings by adding another chip, so the ECM receives different information and makes the adjustments accordingly. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That is not what I read. They said OTHERS do that. They have all the tables etc. etc.

The article that I read said unlocked.

Here’s a question. How many staying on the list are flippers? I hope none. Maybe a flippers list needs to be started.

Depends on your definition of a flipper, I’ve owned 2 Stingrays and kept them for a year and 12000 km before selling do you consider that “a flipper” my Z06 will be parked in my garage till the next great Corvette comes out ( Zr1 )

I don't think there are many flippers on this forum

I just hope the folks on this list are more track focused people, because the Z06 is stiffer and harsher than the Stingray Z51. Less of a GT "jack of all trades" and focused on performance, giving up some of the comfortable ride and all-round GT traits of the current car, all in search of lap times. Its something ive been going back and forth on, wondering if others are doing that same soul searching to see what car suits their use-cases the best?

I’m sure with mag ride set to it’s softest setting, it will still be a comfortable ride on our smooth Ontario roads.
