Yes, although it was a few years ago.
Prior to this, I had never been on a track, nor did I have any real experience with sports cars.
Going into it, I thought I would inevitably end up with some sort of trophy for fastest lap, or at least gain the admiration of the others in my group.
They have (or at least had) a person riding along with you, whom of course I thought was there to keep your speeds down to a minimum.
Well, after about the first 10 seconds I came to realize that my 'partner' beside me was there to speed me up, rather than slow me down.
"Hit it", seemed to be the most used words he offered.
Needless to say, there was no trophy, and the only real admiration was from myself towards those that can pull this s**t off in a true manner.
I don't recall the pricing back then, but I do know that it was worth every dime.

If you're within reach of Cayuga, there's this (and you don't have to go to the USA!)

NOT true of TMP...there is a BIG wall as you exit the last turn onto the main straight. You will see a lot of marks on that wall.

Exotic Dream Car, won't let you drive the cars full out. The person riding along is there to ensure you don't hurt the cars!!!

I have heard the same from many people. They run at Grand Bend Motorplex from time to time. (BTW this track has NO walls and is much safer than TMP). I haven't bothered to waste money to drive cars at 80%. I would rather drive my own C7 to the best of my ability.
If anyone wants to experience there personal car in a safe environment, I can post up a link to GB lapping days/Wednesday evenings.

After watching the video the only wall I see is along one side of a straight stretch and a short one at the end of a turn but the majority of the track is wide open. Not that difficult to drive in a straight line most of the time…..;)

That is the one…when you exit the last corner, it’s on your left. They don’t put hay bails there for no reason….and often they don’t bother. If you get the last corner wrong, it can be expensive. But hey…to each his own.

The hay bails were there when SOAR was using the track (motorcycles).
They since moved on (GB) so it's unlikely anyone sets them out for lapping days, cars or bikes.
