Looks like a simple “purchasing letter of understanding” similar (not exact) to what I’ve seen “Trade & Partner” purchasers sign in return for special pricing direct from GM Canada (as done with active Telus Employees, Military and First Responders in Canada).
Not an actual contract perhaps as it is not signed by 2 parties.
… really should be no big deal (YYSSW) for buyers who are not flipping it …

I have no problem signing this. I was recently asked to sign a first right of refusal at the Porsche dealer when wanting to put a deposit down on a new 911. Basically, I had to allow them first shot at buying the car if I sold it within 2 years of buying it. I refused to sign and they finally agreed to taking my deposit without it.
