Your favorite driving tunes

Doesn't matter how old you or the music is. If you like it, you like it. I like rock, blues and I also like country. If you can find it or rip it, Country Music Documentary by Ken Burns is several seasons covering the roots and evolution of country music right up to 2019 when it was released. Covers a ton of artists lives and rise to fame. Even people who don't like country thought it was a great series. Ken Burns is a great narrator and has many great documentaries that he has done on various topics.

The Riders in The Sky post was just because it was so incredibly hokey. Almost a parody, lol . Can’t touch Don Messer’s Jubilee…..
Now that you mention it I do remember seeing Downchild at the “ new “ Misty Moon after they moved from Gottingen Street to the new joint with the bouncy dance floor. They were there for the opening week. The place was hopping. Which could have actually been because of the “ hops “ come to think of it, lol .

I posted this here back about 7 0r 8 years ago. Took this vid in a beach bar in Costa Rica... Donnie was sitting at the next table and got up and did a set with the Leatherbacks.. (local blues band)...

Very cool. Pura Vida . For a minute there I thought you meant……..

Don't know that band.
I like rock. Hate country and rap
Hate some voices that others like.
For example I can't stand "The Hip" his voice grates on me greatly.
Hard to explain but the lead singer for Collective Soul is close to that. His voice is monotonous to me.
I do like a lot of the modern music, which many older folks don't seem to like.
