For decades, Palace Pier was a very dominating piece of Architecture along that stretch.
Now, not so much.
Didn't a cop throw his wife (or girlfriend) off one of the balconies there a bunch of years ago?

She and Alan appeared in a 2021 episode(s) of Million Dollar Listing LA on the Slice/Bravo networks. They were trying to sell their (somewhat ecclectic) estate in Palm Springs. Last time I saw her/him on TV. She seemed fine, but it's TV.
