Going out to some nicer places to eat and nicer hotels coming up. Some of them require valet service due to lack of above ground parking. Would you let a valet touch your brand new sports car?
Would you let a valet touch your new C7
Well, you said "YOUR NEW C7"
me funny.

Anyone remember Ferris Bueller's Day off (Circa 86')?
Quite a few years ago, my wife and I were out with another couple at this
restaurant in downtown Vancouver... on Hastings St.
We didn't do valet parking, but they did have valet parking at this restaurant.
After we had been in the restaurant for 15 or 20 minutes, we noticed another couple
arrive in a Porsche. They obviously handed their keys to the valet.
They were escorted to a table where they could NOT see out the window.
But we were at a table which had a fine unobstructed view out the window.
Of course..... we saw that Porsche drive by at least 10 times......
each time with a different driver.
They were obviously letting each other from various "valet establishments"
try the car out.
Being "car people" we made a point of mentioning the incident to the Porsche
owner (or maybe he only borrowed it). Surprisingly they did nothing about it.
Oh well.
Would I let a valet (or anyone else I didn't know) drive any of our cars ??????
Fat Chance !!!!
:agree: I've used Valet before but I check the mileage and I let the service know that I consider it grand theft for a potential joy ride .Give 'em a decent tip and smile .I would valet the car if the place was an extremely high-end restaurant, a hotel, or another place with insurance. I would also take a photo of the mileage before leaving the car though, and also be choosy about which places I would valet the car at.
That being said, I prefer self-parking anyways, so have only used a valet service a couple times--always at a hotel.
Well if you we're working there I'd instantly become nervousonly if i was workin' there
