Hello Willy

I know you are looking forward to your upcoming stay, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Shawanda Higginbotham, the Event Specialist for the Courtyard by Marriott Detriot Troy. I am taking over from Maritza Nieblas, your Sales Manager and will be your contact through the planning process for your group and will be happy to assist in any way possible.

We will contact you periodically with updates on your room block and lists of reservations made, if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact us.

* Sleeping rooms in your room block are $89 for room with one King w/ a Sleeper Sofa or a room
* Breakfast IS NOT included in this room rate

I thought about it later and I really should have caught that error. I thought it was strange that you were requesting a Sat/Sun as opposed to a Fri/Sat stay.

Because of the date change and high demand this particular weekend brings, we will need a new contract. Our current rates for that weekend are $139 per night. I reviewed this with our General Manager, Wendy and mentioned that your group wants to come back. She certainly remembers the group and would love to welcome everyone back to the hotel. She agreed to extend a rate of $114 to your group.

Please find the revised agreement attached. Your signature will serve as confirmation and will allow Shawanda to open up reservations.

I will get the contract signed and back to them --give them a couple days to set up the admin--I will notify when ready to book.

Slight increase from last year $114 per night--but they do treat us great--I even checked the area for cheaper accommodations--but no one will guarantee over 5 rooms!!

Was up at Bayfield and had lots of requests for Woodward bookings etc---so I have posted up once more the info you need to book a room---lots of last minute people last year and I just don't want anyone to miss out!!!!
 
Wow great trip down with lots of great people--didn't take the ferry thid time--bridge was empty around 10 am---







Joe and the Bar-B-Que crew where hard at her on the grill!!--Awesome!!

What is awesome is when you have a group of people that just "click"--and throw some money togeather and Bar-B-Q up a storm!!--thanx Joe (Sickvette) for his Bar-B-Q skills---Claus and Doris, Richard and Bonnie, Craig, Kiran, Daniel, Tommy and Vicky---and this was Randy's first Woodward---I think he will be back!!!





Then Vicki's room after!!


T minus 365 days and counting till the next Woodward Dream Cruise!!!
