Has anybody used the type of wind deflector that attaches to the top of the wind shield on coupes? Do they work as advertised and cut down on wind noise and buffeting with the roof off? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Good question. Had one with my sunroof on my '87 Camaro back in the day. It made all the difference, imagine this would do the same. Not a cheap item.

Corvette Central has one for sale at about $200. If it works it might be a good investment. Not too sure about the look though.
Post pics if you have it.......never knew these existed! An intriguing development indeed!

I don't have any pics but it is on their website. Might order one......depends on how long I put up with the wind noise this year! Will post pics if I get one.
I heard that the truck latches that hold the hatch open a bit work better for the coupes to reduce the turbulence... never tested or talked to anyone with either/both though.
Here's the latch that DrJer mentioned. I've never tried one myself, but it looks easy to install and remove. Corvette central has them!
