Purchased a new 24 Eray and looking for my first oil change. 5000 kms currently. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Wison Niblet service. I’m a bit apprehensive about bringing my vette in for an oil change. I know there are 2 free ones, one regular & one for the oil & DCT filter change at 12,000kms. How can I be assured that there are no “surprises” when the work is completed? Can we trust them? I’ve heard some horror stories. Thank you.

Do you live near Richmond Hill? If that's your local dealer they can easily handle an oil change. Any other questions DM me.

Not necessarily. I’ve heard some horror stories of service situations there.
If your only looking for an oil change, I think they should be able to handle that fairly easily considering they are getting 100-150 Corvettes/year.
You didn't answer my question as to where you reside. Are you looking to have any other work done that would create your concern? Every major problem needs the repair authorized by GM and they do deny claims based on the maintenance and modifications of individual vehicles.

Yes Im in RH. I require the DCT filter & oil change, which is included at 12,000 kms at no charge, but seems as though they want to charge regardless of GM

You mentioned that you got a new E-Ray so as the original purchaser you are entitled to two oil changes within 36 months on a 2024 and 1 DCT filter change. Check out the attached letter from GM with regards to this that I originally sent to members of this forum a couple of years ago and Murray has posted on this site. Why would W/N refuse to do routine maintenance for you? I can call a General Manager of another local to you GM dealer that I know if you are not satisfied with the answer you are getting.

Typically not. Your service advisor would be able to answer that question if your car would be assigned to a Corvette certified specialist
which is your main concern.
See my post. WN has 3 techs trained to work on Corvette's, I specifically ask for one and he is the only one that touches my car. If he is away on holidays I go another time. The reason why I am so picky is that I had a chance to meet, chat and ask questions and after this I was very confident I would be happy with his work and he has never disappointed.

Yes independent garage who we trust with all our vehicles. Been using that model (3 different garages) over the past 40+ years. Not a fan of dealers in general although they are much better than they used to be...but rather get personal professional service for half the price or less.

Hey! Thank you so much!!❤️. This is very much appreciated.
I just don’t have a good feeling about W/N after my last experience there and others that I’ve read about (reviews).
I would so much appreciate if you could point me in the direction of a contact at another dealership.
The only other dealer I’ve been to and was content with was Frost GM in Brampton. But that is quite a distance from me…🙏

Justin is awesome, fully trained and has acquired all necessary C8 Maintenance Tools. He also has a template available for DIY tail light wraps...
Awesome! Can I just call WN and ask for an appointment with Justin? Will they really honour this, or just give my car to anyone after I drop it off?
