I think I used some fine/narrow 90 degree picks to release the plastic taps. They are very helpful in many instances.
Why all the 1LZ's for 2026 Z06's?

my main two mistakes were getting excited for the upcoming driving season and not taking a hair dryer to warm up the mirror caps at a minimum and my garage was only at about plus 7C.
also i think my PPF installer might have had a hand in breaking some of the clips before i had my try on it for my sequential turn signal and blue tint paragon mirror install, but i definitely was using the thin trim tool pieces that paragon gave and following the instructions to a T on where to insert and slide up to before pushing with painters tape applied but still broke.....
all fixed now though lol. princess auto plastic fusing kit is a big save for mending tired plastic tabs and clips. holds for now lol
will go to carbon flash caps if they end up flying off but i really don't think they will. at least i hope not... lol
they wiggle very negligible and don't really move so i'm calling that a win for now.
