My pilots hold nothing in the winter nor are they designed to. You are correct C7... DO NOT drive your Vette or any car on Michelin Pilot SS or Cup 2 or any other performance summer tires. if you're going to winter drive change to a winter tire. And given the amount of idiots and novice other drivers who do not know how to drive anything on slippery roads, I will take my chances with stabilized fuel and a nice warm safe garage. JMHO

The correct answer here is 4 brand new michelin arctic alpine tires.. and drive er all winter! (The tires are great over the pilots.. they break out gently.. the pilots hold pavement and then, presto! SPINOUT!
I like the color of your car: I think I might chg. my C8 to that with the black wheels etc. - the orange is growing on me!!!
