What were you doing a year ago at this time?

Gentlemen,

OK, so not quite the same as a JFK moment.

But a year ago I was in Breslau getting to meet Manny (and crew), Colin, Brian, Wayne, Justin and so many others.

And of course getting reacquainted with a "somewhat modified" Z06!

My heart was filled with such joy from this terrific experience and I have so many wonderful memories.

I do would it again, in a heartbeat, and not for the car but for the people that I was able to get befriended by during this time.

It turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life, of course with the cars and great car-nuts I was able to see and meet.

I took the Z today to get my son at school (our first trip in 2014 together) and I felt a sense of calm and joy wash over me. My son, myself and my Z!

It turns out that I was so lucky to not only be an owner of such a special vehicle, but to have so lucky to have shared the experience with so many other terrific people.

My thanks to you all for the contribution that you made to my life. I am a much happier person as a result and when I am in need of a lift I simple need to remember what I was doing in late April/early May 2013.............

I feel so lucky right now...........

Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy being there for your first ride. But, through this great forum a lot of us were able to see you and the car go through such a great experience. I'm glad that the car is such a joy and how it has made your life better for having it!!

A year ago I was readng threads about some yellow vette being supercharged at Manny's place! Watching with amazement thinking about a few things:

1. That beast of a car, and how sick its new found power is
2. The comraderie of the CCF members
3. Driving really slowly on roads with lots of gravel with my new exhaust!!

that was me one year ago today!

that was me one year ago today!

This was exactly the same as I, except I was waiting for the snow to melt so I could get the cars out. Seems I am doing the same this year.....except tonight I get to pull the cars out! Woooooooooo!
