Ditto here $. It was a US car brought into Canada when it was several months old, spent time in Alberta and then BC before coming back to Alberta with me. US cars have a stigma attached to them, it saved me $$$$$ and I'm not planning to resell it so it made no difference to me...........

My 2008 Z06 / 2002 Convertible Were Both Bought In The States ....

1) It Was The $$$$$$$ Amount That I Was Saving ....

2) It Was The Large Selections Of Vehicles To Choose From ....

3) It Was The Options ...

4) Most Vehicles Already Had After Market Performance Parts On It ....

5) The Vehicles Had Less Mileage On Them ...

The Best Thing Was I Didn't Mind Flying In To Drive Them Home .....

I bought mine from the States because I couldn't afford to buy a convertible here in Canada, was working with a budget and buying one from the States and spending money on it to bring it to the border then doing what needed to be done to put her on the road, was still a lot less then what I could find one for here in Canada.

Bought it out of the States because some friends and I were going on a road trip anyway. So, while on the trip I pre-planned to look at a car and ended up buying it. At that time the difference in cost between the US and Canada was around a 25% difference for the year I was looking at.
