Just going through some of my pictures and video and noticed that I had never posted the video from my dyno run.

So here it is

And the numbers:

This was two years ago with just a set of LG Pros and a ported LS6 intake:

This is after all the work :

Not a bad gain at all 132 RWHP & 56.02 TQ on a 98 C5 Corvette that started out at 345 hp at the flywheel.

Thx

NICE!!! They baselined my car yesterday prior to starting the work. 322 RWHP... fairly normal they said for an essentially stock '01 LS-6. I think their dyno reads a little low but not a big deal Going with Kooks LT's, off road x-over, VRX-5 cam (plus all the valvetrain goodies), porting the stock heads and new injectors... I'm hoping for 420 considering that I think the dyno is maybe 10 RWHP on the low side. I can't imagine what 465+ would be like....

Probably... hmmmm.... NASTY!!! lol

seriously nice ride...

You should be in the 425 - 435 range with that set-up.
I'm getting those numbers with 243 heads with only valve train upgrades, cam and headers.

You will love it

About time you posted that video up!

Here's a new video I did this morning. I had to move the Nasty1 to storage, as Nik has now decided that we should do a forged 402 LS2 for the Caddy so I need all the room for his project . Should be a fun couch on wheels :coolgleam:

This is with the Bassani cat back I installed in September
Love the sound of these trumpets

Stay tuned as we will do a whole segment on this build.

Thx

Ayyyyy carumba!!!!

Thats what I said Looks like we are going with a set of Trick Flow 225cc heads and this puppy :

The LS2 402ci Super Charger Competition short block is a great starting point for your supercharged or turbocharged project. With all forged components and blower dished pistons this engine will handle up to 750HP at the flywheel.

Specifications:

Block: New GM LS2 block honed with torque plates, zero decked, align honed with Program Billet steel main caps and ARP main studs, all new GM block plugs installed.

SPECS:

Crank: Callies 4340 forged steel, internal balanced front and rear

Rods: Callies 4340 forged steel H-beam, 6.125

Uhmmmmm. YES. Lol

What's he doing for a tranny and rear end?
[mob][/mob]

We are beefing up the stock MN6 and installing a Monster Clutch and billet flywheel with remote bleeder. The rear diff will have to go to a straight axel to handle all the new ponies.

That exhaust sounds FANTASTIC! Or maybe I should say the combination of the engine with that exhaust sounds fantastic. My only question would be if there is any drone on the highway? I love the sound of my Borla's but I know people aren't too happy about the drone they produce.

That is going to be one wicked Caddy! You'll have to keep us updated on the build. I can't wait until he adds nos to it...( I know he has not mentioned that yet but it seems like the next logical step!)

The Borla' have a wicked drone for sure , the Bassani are not prone to the same . They are an excellent choice over the Borla or Corsa. I have installed 6 system's to date on both C5 & C6 with excellent reviews.

Nik has been an outstanding supporter for my work, and I am very pleased that he has once again tapped E.C.P on the shoulder for this monster build. I personally can't wait to light the wick on the rocket :coolgleam:

No doubt... That's a wicked project!!!

Fire in the hole!
