I owned a 2014 2LT Z51 and a 2015 2LT Z51 with competition seats and magnetic ride. Both of my other C7’s I bought preowned. Now I want to buy a 2019 so that I can get a Stingray in Sebring Orange. I realize that dealer cost is about 12% lower than MSRP. What is a reasonable discount to try and get?

Thanks for the reply. That is an excellent discount. I will try and get the same. I would like the 2LT package but current prices just stretch my budget too much. I hope that I don't regret not getting that package.

The 2LT package does offer more. If you want the parking cameras and possibly the PDR.
I have not run the numbers but lots of guys say the 2LT/Z is the best value for the money.
Maybe you can find a 1LZ car with some of these more desirable options. Likely a possibility.

Good luck with your quest for the smell of new leather.

Mine was a late summer purchase which may have helped achieve that discount, but on the other hand, there are a lot more C7's available now as compared to then. PDR and the curb camera would be high on my want list. I have PDR but the front camera wasn't available in 2015.

Toronto area dealers are offering 10% off ordered Corvettes. If you're looking at something on a lot, I'd expect more than that - that said, it's a bad time of year to be a buyer. I would think you'll pay more now than you would in October or later.

True that. Depending on options, the choices might be a bit smaller but if last year's leftovers were any indication, there should still be lots to choose from.

I custom-ordered a 2019 1LT Grand Sport Convertible. The MSRP on the car was $89,990 + PDI and tax, with a hand-full of options. I will preface my answer by saying I have a brother in the business for 40+ years who was instrumental in acquiring my vehicle at a significant discount. However, I did contact 3 local dealers (Williamson, Addison, City), to understand their 'discount' structure before I worked with my brother to finalize my deal. For a custom order, none of the dealers I talked to would offer any significant discount whatsoever (<$2k) and one offered no discount at all. Simply, each dealer has an allocation based upon their volume and a custom order takes away from their allocation and margin. I would contact whatever dealer G-Force Junkie said is offering 10% off customer orders, that is absolutely HUGE! For new 2019's similar to mine on dealer lots, the dealers above were willing to discount between $3,000 - $5,000 from MSRP. Good luck with your purchase :)

Check out Capital in YYC if you are near here ... They just got one and I always find my very best discount is when that beauty is on the lot .... If you are in YEG ... PM me and I will give you a name of someone where we bought a couple of stingrays - to see if they can bring it or similar to what you want in for you .... you never know ... you don't mention if an A8 is OK as this one is an automatic ...
new Chevrolet Corvette for sale in Calgary | Stock #39005 | Capital Chevrolet
This one is a near full load Sebring Orange Grand Sport 3LT ... so I am spending more of your money but saw this on the lot this past Saturday ... a real beauty that I'd try for $86k all in (to start) and leave that offer with a Sales Manager in case it doesn't sell by the last business day of July ... it does take a tremendous amount of patience for a smackin' discount. I think they have maybe 7 to 9 corvettes in stock ... and that also helps as a dealer may be motivated to sell inventory with 120day selling allocations during Corvette Season ... Best of Good Fortune
