I think it's safe to assume everyone here enjoys giving their car a good wash on the weekend—I know I do.

With so many detailing products on the market, it can be hard to figure out what's actually worth the money. I usually stick with Meguiar's because it's always treated me well, but I'm always open to trying something new.

What's one product you would recommend?
  • Brand / Product
  • Approximate Price
  • Where can I buy it?
Always looking to add a few new products to the detailing collection!

Lucas Oil Slick mist to remove bugs , dirt and guts , in a pinch its good to clean glass as well .
After that i usually go over it again with Chemical Guys Speed Wipe spray and gloss detailer .
Again , everyone has their own preferences.

IMHO .... the best thing to load your foam canon with is Mega Foam by Adams Polishes ... ph neutral and has the softest lubricants to guarantee a smooth soft brilliant wash every time ..... however its expensive ... like all good things this gallon is about 100 bucks

Adam's Mega Foam 16oz - pH Best Car Wash Soap For Foam Cannon, Pressure Washer Or Foam Gun | Concentrated Car Detailing Detergent

For detail spray I use wolfgang rinsless carwash ... but not to wash the car ..... mix 3.5 oz of this stuff to 1 gallon of distilled water .... makes the best detail spray ever ..... to be used with plush korean microfiber towels ... available on amazon

Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash 16oz

I find that for some reason Not just Corvette ... but all GM products have really soft clear coats .... Torch red is a bastard to keep perfect ... but I love the color .... and I did notice something .... mabe its my imagination .... mabe its because I'm 5 years older ..... but my torch red '21 that I have had for 5 years seemed to have a bit of an orange hue to it .... even my wife noticed ... but my new Grand Sport .... the torch red seems much deeper and no orange flavor to it ... I'v been staring at it in the sun at the dealership and it looks so much richer and deeper than my '21 ... ... the paint formula is definately different

I never skimp on detailing products ......... ;)

Meguiar's Ultimate wax and Lucas Slick mist detail speedwax is all I have ever used on both Vettes i have owned. VDN Tire for the Meguiars and Amazon for the slick mist. I buy a case at a time so have no idea what the current prices are.
