Featured What A BOMB !

Eric, I guess when the bass are growing up we may find some as small as 56" but typically we would just do catch and release on something that size.:Cheers2:

Eric, the late great NASCAR star Neil Bonnet was fishing with some guy by the name of Earnhardt (no idea who that is:Biggrin:) and was quoted as saying "to troll we have to run the bass boat at over 100 mile per hour, it is the only way to take the fight out of them".

Pretty sure he was talking about our lake:Woohoo:.

Glad to hear it was trouble-free, especially through that kind of cold! I know all too well what cold weather can do to an engine. :(

A 25lb trout though? Holy carp! and a beaut it was! Thanks for the pic!

hahaha! Murray might be exaggerating a little bit, but things are definitely bigger in Ontario. Bigger lakes, bigger fish, makes sense. I have caught a 22lb bass in Ontario, and it towed a 14' boat with three people in it for almost an hour before I could reel it in.

I haven't had the luck to catch a trout myself (they are smarter than me), but I've seen some pretty big rainbows in Ontario.

Northern Saskatchewan has some amazing lakes and great fishing. But sssshhhh!!! Don't ruin it by bringing a bunch of tourists there! lol.

Or do..... A Bomb Tour in northern Saskatchewan would be a hell of a fun adventure!
