I am new to the forum but not new to owning a vette. I bought my first and last vette 44 years ago. I had no idea what I was buying. At the time paying $6000 was way over what I should have paid. It came with a 327ci. and a 3 speed automatic. Thank god the frame was and still is solid. I have the car all apart and I am now beginning to put it back together. I am not a mechanic and have learned over the years to fix things myself. I am hoping the experts on this forum wil be able to guide me through this project. Not finishing this project is not an option. when completed it will be a period correct 1960 283ci, 230HP with a period correct 1960 two speed, cast iron power glide. Time to get the power train out of my daughters living room.
