It was a long drive from Cobourg up to Blind River and back in 1 day last week but well worth the trip that resulted in the purchase of a '98 C5 Convertible with only 54,000 km of summer fun on the clock. The finish on the car is better than "showroom" and still original with one little 1mm stone chip on the front bumper. No cracks in the sport seats and all gauges and electrics working 100%. Just have to purchase 4 new Schrader TPMS sensors # 10438853 p/n (28006) at Rock Auto to fit in the 2005 C6 18"s and 19"s, along with a Haynes Service Manual. Wife put up a bit of a fuss as the C5 has to now compete with the '05 Merc SL500 and '12 Mustang GT convertible in the garage. Don't golf anymore so I'm down to music & cars now.
I look forward to reading the many entries to the Forums and adding my own hopeful word of wisdom when it happens...I'm sure I will need help as I go along changing a few thigs here-and -there on the C5. Great to be with you and hopefully get to some of the meetings to share stories.
