water in my C8 convert engine bay

For those of us who have been inspired to buy the convert version, water will get into the bay but not as much as the coupe.
Here`s a closeup view I took at the Toronto show. You can zoom in to see the grill similar to the coupe. It will be much harder to wipe off the engine.
When I get mine, hope soon , I might make a matt to fit over the vent with maybe some magnetic strips to hold in place. Hopefully it won`t fly off when power washing.
Be sure to put the top up before tossing water around when you test.

Might not be able to use magnets as back end may be all composite material. Some kind of sticky material may be needed.
