GM gives US buyers $5,000 “GM bucks” after they keep their Z06 for 6 months. I assume we’ll get the same deal in Canada? No word yet about Canadians getting on GM’s “naughty list” if sold to someone in the States with the first year of ownership.

I asked my dealership that today. They were not aware or heard officially of any rewards program for keeping the cars for 6 months. My car which is built and waiting shipping will be at full MSRP with no extra charges or documents stating I can't sell the car....that $1 lease I read about. The $5000 rewards would be nice though......I plan on keeping the car anyway.......

There is no GM $5000 rewards program in Canada. Some dealers are putting a $1 Lein on cars they sell for 1 year to prevent exporting of the car which gets them in trouble with GM and lose allocations.

That’s interesting as I specifically asked about this when I picked up my car and was told no, thanks for sharing, I will look into this on Monday.
